2008 JET Pre-Departure Q&A Session
New JET participants were able to ask a range of questions about how to prepare for their time on the programme, and some of the things to expect from their job and life in Japan.
Melissa, Greg, Natalie and Laura from JETAA Qld gave presentations about their time on JET and fielded questions from the 'next generation' of JET participants departing from Brisbane. After the talks , JETAA Qld provided drinks and cocktail platters for an informal discussion time, and other JETAA Qld members were on hand to offer one-on-one advice.
Thanks to Sasha and Mr Yokogawa from the Queensland Consulate and JETAA Qld president Michael for running the event, and to the enthusiastic new JET participants and their guests.
